Why We Started Forge My Flock

Forge My Flock didn’t start because we were looking for another business to build. It started with our own flock.

We wanted a simple way to give our chickens more than just basic feed — something we could use every day that included quality ingredients we actually felt good about feeding them.

The more we looked, the more we realized we weren’t finding exactly what we wanted. Some products were complicated. Some were expensive. Others just didn’t feel like something we wanted to make part of our flock’s everyday routine.

So we decided to create our own.

What started at home turned into months of researching ingredients, comparing suppliers, mixing different combinations, watching how our chickens responded, and making changes when something didn’t meet our expectations.

We’ve never wanted Forge My Flock to be the cheapest product on the shelf, and we don’t want it priced like some luxury product either. Our goal is simple: use quality ingredients, make a product we’re proud to feed our own flock, and offer it at a fair price.

We’re also not interested in rushing it just to get something on the market. That’s why we’re taking the time to test, learn, and get it right before we begin selling.

Forge My Flock is a family-owned project built around something our family genuinely enjoys. And if we wouldn’t feed it to our own chickens, we won’t ask you to feed it to yours.
